Dusty diary (1999)

When creating her Dusty Diary project, Trudi worked directly in the soil. She submerged paper and canvas into dug-out areas pouring colours employed in the building trade, such as bright browns, blacks and greys. These techniques resulted in remarkable prints of quality and beauty, which she completed in her studio, such as African Bees, Precious Objects and Flying Objects.
